VINTAGE METAFRAME AQUARIUM HUGE 3FT STAINLESS FISH TANK SLATE BOTTOM with STAND

This vintage Metaframe aquarium is a giant-sized model, measuring 36.5"L x 18.25"H x 18.25D, and includes its original wrought iron stand. It has the classic angled stainless frame and slate rock bottom, and should hold 40-45 gallons. The frame shows scratches, spots and blemishes, but no serious damage. Glass shows hazy etching in spots, and the back wall has some noticeable scratched areas inside.

The stand also shows some minor rust and chipped spots, but no structural damage. Tank was filled to the top with water, but there was a slow leak coming from underneath after about 15 minutes. Inspecting the underside, you can see there is a spot where some tar or putty was previously glopped on, which may be where the tank is leaking from now. Prior owner had already lined the inner edges with black silcone, and there appear to be no leaks from the walls or corners. The tank weighs over 100 pounds, the stand is another 40 pounds.
