I found this beauty and bought it with the intention of creating a gorgeous planted tank for just a couple of fish and some shrimp. The problem is that I will not be able to reach the bottom unless I build up the soil incredibly high (costly) and kind of defeats my idea.
The tank measures 40 in x 40 in x 12 in on the bottom areas and 28 in outward on the pop outs. I'm guesstimating about 90 gallons or thereabouts by measures/take outs. Picture next to a large refrigerator to give you an idea of the size. It is a big tank.There are some normal surface scratches but overall it is in quite great condition, especially when considering its age. Polishing will take care of most if not all issues. It has a clear sticker that says S&S aquariums, Richmond California. I found no business with that info other than a cleaning service. These were awesome to see back in the day and I always wanted one.
